Snaring Campground - Jasper Campgrounds & Jasper Camping

Snaring Campground is located near the town of Jasper and is a very popular site. It's convenient location makes it a great overnight spot for RVs and Campers alike who want a little more privacy than Wapiti or Whistlers!
The campsite is usually open from mid May to late September. Reservations are on a "first come first serve" and honor payment basis.

Snaring Campground, Jasper is very small, and offers 62 primitive style camping sites. It offers metal fire rings, outhouses, potable water and plenty of picnic areas. This is one of busier campgrounds in Jasper National Park and it is a wonderful spot for people who enjoy more privacy.

Snaring River Campground is located just south of the town of Jasper. There are several large trees in the area, a nearby river, and the walk-in sites are truly spectacular. But be careful, they fill up fast!
The campground also has bear boxes and a cooking area as well. Firewood is provided for an extra $10 fee.
If you absolutely require a shower, you can always take the short drive into Jasper and pay to use the public shower!
