Waterton National Park

Commonly referred to as "where the prairies meet the peaks" Waterton Lakes National Park offers some breathtaking views, thunderous waterfalls, and beautiful peaks.

Located in the south western most portion of Alberta, very near Montana, Waterton National Park is one of the smallest and least visited Parks in the Canadian Rockies - it is roughly 505km (195 mi) in size and receives roughly 500,000 visitors a year.

Waterton certainly doesn't have the extensive hiking trails found in Jasper, or the activities found in Banff, but the beauty and tranquility make it a must see in the Canadian Rockies!
