Columbia Icefield Campground - Jasper Campgrounds & Jasper Camping

Columbia Icefield Campground is a very small campground that offers basic amenities right near Athabasca Glacier. It's convenient location makes it a great overnight spot for campers looking to explore the Columbia Icefields. This is one of the best campgrounds near Columbia Icefields.
The campsite is usually open from mid June to mid October. Reservations are on a "first come first serve" and honor payment basis.

Columbia Icefield Campground is small, and offers 31 primitive style tenting sites. It offers metal fire rings, outhouses and potable water. This is one of the less busy campgrounds in Jasper National Park and it is a wonderful spot for people to enjoy some remarkable views!

Columbia Icefields Campground is located just a long drive from Jasper. There are several large trees in the area and a nearby creek that offer some remarkable views. The walk-in tent sites are spectacular and fill up very fast!
The campground also has bear boxes and a cooking area as well. Firewood is provided for
an extra $10 fee.
